NBC Ruined 2012 Olympian Missy Franklin Gold Medal Win For Fans With Promo

NBC totally ruined the gold medal win for 2012 Olympian Missy Franklin fans by just moments with their commercial promo for the event. New channels in the U.S. have taken very careful precautions to warn viewers about the announcement of results. Many telecasts have even taken the consideration to only display the results and not speak them to avoid the 2012 Olympics being ruined for folks in the U.S.

Unfortunately NBC aired a promo that not only questioned how well Missy Franklin would do in the upcoming race (and showed her waiting), but then suddenly began talking about an interview about her gold medal. What?

Hopefully fans who were watching and noticed this blip caught by Business Insider, were not too upset. It is bad enough that the results of events are broadcasted well before the United States has had a chance to watch the telecast.
