The NCAA brackets 2012 predictions continue as many of the top analysts covering the game are making their Final Four picks. CBS Sports analyst Greg Anthony was part of the Selection Sunday show, and gave his top picks as well.
With the NCAA Tournament field announced on Sunday night, everyone’s scrambling to figure out who they should select for each game, for each round, and ultimately their Final Four teams. After Greg Anthony and Seth Davis made their picks on CBS, Las Vegas Review Journal columnist Norm Clarke tweeted the news out:
CBS analyst Greg Anthony Final 4 picks: Kentucky, Missouri, Vandy & N. Carolina. Counterpart Seth Davis: Ky wins; #UNLV surprises #FB
Ironically, UNLV was Greg Anthony’s former team, back in the days when he played alongside some other former NBA stars named Larry Johnson and Stacey Augmon. While they are calling UNLV a potential surprise in the tournament, it’s no surprise that both analysts like Kentucky. However, this differs from ESPN predictions and talk from the likes of Dick Vitale and Jay Bilas. Both have noted that they believe Kentucky has the toughest region of them all and a potentially dangerous second round matchup with UCONN.
What do you think of Greg Anthony’s Final Four picks? Do you agree that Vanderbilt will make it there along with the other 3 teams?
