NCIS has brought in a few family members over the years, and two will be returning in the upcoming tenth season. One will show up for the holidays, while the other will appear earlier in the season.
Season 10 Spoilers
According to TVLine, Robert Wagner and Daniel Luis Rivas will be returning to reprise their roles as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. and Kyle, respectively. This will be Wagner’s fourth time appearing as Tony’s father on the show, and with the way things have gone in the past, you have to wonder what he’s going to be caught up in this time around. The last episode he appeared in, “Sins of the Father,” ended with Senior deciding to stick around to spend Thanksgiving with his son (and staying at Gibbs’). This time, he’ll be showing up “right around Christmas in a holiday episode,” explains showrunner Gary Glasberg. Will he once again be in the middle of an investigation, or will this time be different? Will he just be in town to see his son for once, or is something else going on as well? Will it be a happy DiNozzo family reunion for Christmas?
NCIS season 10 is also going to be exploring more about Abby’s family, a storyline that goes back to last season’s “Enemy on the Hill.” She found out she’s adopted and has another brother, Kyle Davis. Rivas’ return comes as part of “a storyline that unfolds in the wake of the explosion.” He’ll be in an episode airing in early October. Will Kyle find out he has a sister? She didn’t tell him before, but is there going to be a reason why he needs to know this season since it’s something that happens after the explosion? Though Pauley Perrette has been on the show since the beginning, not much has been explored about her backstory, which is why this storyline is one to look forward to. However, at the same time, you have to worry about what’s coming up after the explosion. Could it just be that Abby has realized life is short and she wants to get to know her brother in case something happens?
