New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Clippers Preview

The NBA features a great game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the New York Knicks. Both teams have looked impressive as of late, and they will try to build some momentum heading into the playoffs.

New York is coming off an impressive win over the Hawks with a final score of 113-112. In their win, Carmelo Anthony scored an impressive 39 points, which helped New York beat the Hawks by a narrow margin. Amare Stoudemire also had a game saving block, which allowed New York to come out the victors. This type of gutsy performance definitely bodes well for them heading into the playoffs. They seem to be meshing at the right time thanks to the stellar play of Tyson Chandler, Carmelo Anthony, and Amare Stoudemire.

Blake GriffinThe Los Angeles Clippers have also looked impressive this season. They are currently 40-25. They are second in the Pacific Division, and they will be looking to rebound off a loss to the Atlanta Hawks. For much of the season, they have relied on Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. Griffin is averaging 20.6 points per game with 10.9 rebounds per game. Paul is averaging 19.8 points per game with 9.1 assists per game. They will need production from these stars and Chauncey Billups if they want to come out the victors tonight.

This game has the making to be a very entertaining game for Knicks and Clippers fans alike. So much is on the line for these team, which is the chance to build some momentum and get things rolling on both ends of the floor. Sometimes late in the season, it is how teams perform that determines whether they will do well in the playoffs. Should make for a competitive game between two outstanding teams.
