Noodles- A Thanksgiving Side Dish

Growing up, my grandpa always made noodles for the holidays. Some years they were made with store bought noodles, while other years, he made the most delicious homemade noodles. I still haven't gotten that recipe, but here's the recipe for the much loved store bought noodle dish.

 

Ingredients:

2 14 ounce Chicken Broth containers
1 cube Chicken Bullion
1 1/2 bags Extra Wide Egg Noodles

Bring the 1 container of broth to a boil, and boil the noodles in it. As the noodles soften to being almost done, add the second container of broth, and the bullion cube. Serve as is.

This is a VERY easy, filling side dish that tastes great. Please note- do not boil in water, they are NO WHERE near as flavorful with just water!

In the photo, my grandpa's noodles were in the green bowl with the black serving spoon- right next to the rolls, and above the gravy.
