Nymphomania is the ‘American Horror Story’ Game for ‘Big Love’ Star

Casting for the second season of American Horror Story is going strong. One Big Love star is ready to sign on as the show’s nymphomaniac. Who is it? Take a look and see.

It isn’t Jeanne Tripplehorn although she could obviously pull off such a role. She’s a phenomenal actress. In this case, however, it’s actually another Big Love wife — Chloë Sevigny. That actually fits even better.

Sevigny is supposedly ready to sign on the dotted line to play sex-starved Shelly. She’ll be just one of the many patients living in the mental asylum that’s run by Jessica Lange’s new character.

In case anyone missed the notice, Jessica isn’t playing the role of Constance that won her an award for American Horror Story. Season two is a kind of do-over with a mostly new cast in a brand new anthology.

However, there will be a few returning favorites, including Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters. The Voice’s Adam Levine will also play a pivotal role this year. He’s excited about his first true acting gig. He should fit in well with this year’s theme, which director, Ryan Murphy, calls “sexy.”

With nymphomania on the table, calling it just sexy is a bit of an understatement. Fans will be waiting to see just how far the show will push the envelope this year.
