Dr. Michael Kamrava, the doctor who helped Octomom Nadya Suleman conceive her 14 children, has been accused of negligence and violating professional guidelines.

Suleman, 34, conceived all of her children through in vitro fertilization (IVF), and gave birth to octuplets in January 2009. Dr. Kamrava was administered fertility treatments to Suleman.

The State of California Medical Board accuses Kamrava of gross negligence and says that the doctor “acted beyond the reasonable judgment” for providing a woman labeled “N.S.” fertility treatments that resulted in an octuplet pregnancy.

The Board also cites the doctor for keeping “inadequate records.” Kamrava could lose his medical license as a result of the accusations.
