I'm turning off a piece of me

The inside part no one can see.

A hidden slice, I always knew

You'd be the one to see right through.

Each time I sit and fiercely weep

Is bringing out my feelings, deep.

A broken heart that will not mend

Through sleepless nights and days on end.

No blame for me or even you

It's meant to be, nothing left to do.
