Oh no she Didn’t: Sarah Palin’s Tea Party Speech

Former Alaska Governor has moved on, well at least in a different direction and is now pushing the Tea Party Movement. At the Tea Party Convention she stated: “It’s so inspiring to see real people, not politicos, inside-the-beltway professionals, come out, stand up and speak out for common-sense conservative principles.”

She spent the remainder of the convention, in her speech, dogging administrative actions in Washington, Obama and Democrats. She chose to tackle the subjects of National Security, the recent election of Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts, as well as the big one: the economy.

Palin even tried to make jokes on the matter by mocking President Obama’s campaign slogan: “How’s that hope-y, change-y stuff working out for you?”

I just think it’s funny and odd that she feels that she is qualified enough to point fingers, blame, and mud-sling. I guess now that a year’s gone by she feels that after her book: Going Rogue, and her tv appearances she feels she has redeemed herself of her embarrassing and slightly unprepared speeches and debates from last years election.

I know that she is trying to appeal to the people, the everyday middle class American, “Joe Plumber,” but the whole reason the employment is up and the everyday man is down is a result to an 8 year Republican/pro-war/ conservative reign. We, Americans, spent money that just wasn’t there and now we are suffering. Regardless of if a Republican or a Democrat or whomever was in the Presidential seat, we’d still be suffering. It took 8 years or more to get into this hole, it won’t be resolved overnight, or over a year. It’s going to take some time, and yes time is money and that’s part of the problem.

Not to mention she is always pushing “conservative” values and common sense, yet her own household and family does not necessarily practice what they preach–hence Levi Johnston. I mean if you are going to be in a position to lead people don’t be a hypocrit. I know that we are all human, and prone to imperfection which is why she can’t control every word, idiotic phrase, or action of her family or herself. This is just one reason why I’m politically neautral. I feel that the only government that will really make a difference is God’s, it would be perfect and unbiased or partial.

I am not her biggest fan, I am more of a fan of tina fey’s impression of her. That at least is entertaining.
