Six small earthquakes have hit central Oklahoma on Saturday. This is the second time in less than a week that Oklahoma has had several earthquakes in the central part of the state. No injuries were reported, but the quakes are becoming more frequent.
On Wednesday there were another six small earthquakes in the same area of Oklahoma. The quakes on Wednesday ranged from1.3 to 3.1 in magnitudes. While the quakes are small, they are troubling to this part of the country, as they are so numerous.Â
For humans to feel a quake, the quake has to be of a magnitude of 2.5 or greater, but the structural damage caused by such frequent quakes is a concern. Also, are these earthquakes preliminary of a much bigger earthquake? So far, no injuries or serious damage have been reported.Â
