‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 2 Spoilers : Emma’s Love Life

Once Upon a Time season 1 ended with magic coming to Storybrooke, so what will that mean for everyone? What’s coming up for Emma now that she believes and knows that what Henry’s been saying is all true?

OUaT Season 2 Spoilers

Jennifer Morrison cropJennifer Morrison talked to Entertainment Weekly about what’s coming up for Emma: “[Executive producers] Eddie [Horowitz] and Adam [Kitsis] have talked about how… season two they’re going to explore the idea of her allowing romantic love in her life as well because that’s something she’s never really permitted previously either.” The first season was mainly focused on Emma and Henry, and now that that bond has been established and Regina is out of the picture (for now), they can use Once Upon a Time season 2 to further explore other areas of Emma’s life, including romance.

The two options for Emma do seem to be the Huntsman and Pinocchio right now, but that could always change. Morrison went on to say, “[The Huntsman] was in the season finale so they’ve established in fairytale land you can still flashback to him existing there, even though he’s not alive in reality. I don’t know what this means now that we’re bringing magic. … We don’t know what that means for Pinocchio. Is he still going to be wood, or is he going to come back to life? We don’t know if that means the Huntsman can be brought back to life. We don’t know what the rules are going to be now because everything has changed.”

Emma (very) briefly had something going on with the Huntsman before he died in Storybrooke, so if there is a way to bring him back, they could pick that up. Some did pick up on something between Emma and Pinocchio, but will they even have the chance to explore that? Will magic coming to Storybrooke change him back, or will he remain wooden? Anything could happen. They could even bring in another character to complicate Emma’s life.
