One Direction Guys in Trouble for Gambling?

The One Direction guys are reportedly in a bit of trouble for gambling recently. Can Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik talk their way out of this one? Probably.

According to a report from Celebuzz, it seems once all the What Makes You Beautiful singers were of legal age (18 in the UK), they’ve collectively headed to a casino and enjoyed a bit of a gambling spree.

One Direction has that 'One Thing'“Like most of the stupid things we do, it seemed like it was a good idea at the time,” Niall Horan said during an interview with We Love Pop. “We just thought, ‘We’re 18, this is the first time we’ve been able to spend a bit of money in weeks because we’ve been on the road.'”

Even though Niall claims he won a bit of cash, he says the band’s management was less than thrilled.

“Let’s just say it got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost. A lot,” Horan says. “When our management found out, we got a serious dressing-down about it.”

The Kiss You singers are set to kick off their Take Me Home concert tour on February 23rd. Will they be able to stay out of casinos while on the road or might they be in for another tongue lashing instead?

“I think that’s the beauty of being in a band. Often people who have had fame from such a young age as solo artists find it harder to stay grounded, because it’s just them,” Louis Tomlinson says. “But with us, we’ve got each other. The minute one of us falls out of line, another one of us will set them straight! Hopefully the One Direction guys can stay out of trouble long enough to thrill fans with a long list of concerts that will find them traveling the world. Would you want to be on the receiving end of one of Simon Cowell’s reprimands? That thought alone is likely good insurance for Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson–wouldn’t you imagine?
