Open Discussion: Are you worried about H1N1 this fall?

Filed in Gather Health Essential by on August 11, 2009 0 Comments

By now we’ve all seen the news reports across various news media warning us about the threats of H1N1 flu (formerly known as “swine flu”) this fall, the new controversial vaccines, and those suggested to get it first.

Wednesday in the 11 a.m. (CDT) hour of Midday, Gary Eichten welcomes Minnesota State epidemiologist Ruth Lynfield to the studio to talk about those most at risk for H1N1 and the state’s plans to deal with its next wave. Listen in at 11 a.m. and add your comments here.

Personally, I’m not terribly worried about it (but wait, now that I’ve said that, I’m bound to catch it), I’m just not looking forward to the over-sanitized campus dining that is a guaranteed outcome of all this hubbub when I get back to school. Are you worried about H1N1 this fall? Are you worried about your kids? Will your life change at all?
