The queen of talk shows, Oprah Winfrey is in her final season and the lineup for premiere week has recently been unveiled.  The show is looking to go out big as the daytime lineup will include all sorts of surprises and major stories, just as her Oprah talk show always has.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Oprah’s premiere week starts next Monday, September 13th with a “top-secret” opener that is said to feature celebrity guests and a surprise musical performance, as well as some viewers seeing their dreams come true.  On Tuesday, the 14th, the Judds will talk with Oprah about their farewell tour and Winona’s incredible weight-loss of over 60 pounds.

Wednesday September 15th will feature Oprah re-visiting Williamson, West VA.  Oprah made a visit there in 1987 to hold a town hall style show after the mayor had shut down a local swimming pool after someone with AIDS having used it for swimming.  On Thursday the 16th, Oprah interviews 28-year-old Bethany Storro, who was the victim of a horrific acid attack by a stranger in Vancouver, WA.  On Friday, September 17th the world will learn what could be Oprah’s final Book Club selection ever, her 64th. (See her previous selections here.)  Sales of that book just might go through the roof!

It’s been a long time on the air for Oprah, and she will finish up the Oprah show in May of 2011.  That marks two big TV legends leaving in 2011, as CNN’s Larry King is also done with his 25-year run the same year.  Recent reports have confirmed he will be replaced by Piers Morgan, but there’s yet to be any announcement who or what will replace Oprah in her time slot.

Is there anyone capable of capturing the attention of America and the world in Oprah’s absence though?
