Oracle Corp.’s CEO Lawrence (Larry) Ellison Wins The Amercia’s Cup

Oracle Corporation’s CEO and founder, 65-year-old Lawrence (Larry) Ellison, won the 33rd Amercia’s Cup for the United States on Sunday.

Ellison’s trimaran beat two-time defending champion Alinghi of Switzerland for a two-race sweep. Ellison won over his rival Ernesto Bertarelli.

The America’s Cup will be sent toSan Francisco’s Golden Gate Yacht Club. The last time the trophy was in the United States was in 1995.
