An Orange County tornado was reported earlier today in California which had wind gusts of up to 80 miles per hour.  The storm reportedly lifted boats out of the water and moved onto the shore area of Sunset Beach.  Some witnesses have even reported that cars were upended and roofs were torn off homes in the Costa Mesa region of California.

In addition to Orange County, there were also reports of flooding in the streets of San Pedro and Long Beach, California.  Huntington Beach had reports of surging waves due to the powerful storm which has been moving through California.

According to weather reports, the storm could be even more intense come Wednesday, when a new system moves in.  There’s been many tornado warnings issued for parts of Southern California, with internet searches being heavy for these warnings over the past several hours on Tuesday.  For more information on your particular region’s weather please see Weather.com.
