Blonde Bombshell Pamela Anderson has a new PETA ad which has been banned in Canada.  That’s because Pam is pretty much nude on the new advertisement poster.  The Canadians felt it was a bit much for the new PETA campaign and their country.  This came after Pamela Anderson had made a trip over to Montreal for Thursday, then learned her new ad was a no go for Canada!

The never bashful celeb gave her comments on the matter to US Weekly:

“In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens. In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas — is that next? I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical.” (

An official from Montreal gave their explanation for the ban on Pam’s PETA Ad saying “It is not so much controversial, as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women.”

Back in 2009, Pamela Anderson had another controversial advertisement for PETA.  In the ad she was stripping on camera to raise awareness for PETA, but CNN’s Airport Network refused to show it.  If you’ve seen the latest ad, she is wearing a skimpy bikini with the slogan “All Animals Have the Same Parts”.  The animal on the ad, Pam Anderson has her sections marked off like she is meat with the “Feet” Leg” “Breast” and “Rump” among the marked parts.

I can understand why Canada might want to tighten the reins on the ad, as PETA has always done their best to use controversy to get its messages across.  While she does have a bikini on, she is sectioned off like meat, drawing attention to her beautiful body.  It’s their right to ban ads they don’t deem appropriate.  However, they at least could have decided to ban it before she arrived, unless of course they didn’t see it until just today.

What do you think of the new Pam Anderson PETA ad seen here at US Magazine?
