Pedophile Guide Author Gets Probation, No Sex Offender Registration

The author of a pedophile guide called The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure has been sentenced to probation for writing the book that clearly provides instructions on committing sexual acts on children. He won’t even have to register as a sex offender.

According to a report from FOXNews, “Phillip R. Greaves II pleaded no contest… to distributing obscene material depicting minors engaged in harmful conduct.” He will serve his two years of probation in Colorado, where he won’t be required to register as a sex offender.

What on earth gives in this situation? The man is clearly a danger to children if he wrote a pedophile guide that included instructions on committing heinous sexual acts. It is unfathomable that he is getting off with a mere slap on the wrist.

Obviously the judicial system in this country continues to protect the heinous and neglect their duty to protect innocent children. Freedom of speech likely came into play in this particular case, but still, how can this in any way be okay?

The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure by Phillip R. Greaves first gained national media attention when Amazon.com customers raised numerous red flags after it appeared on the site. It was a self-published book.

Do you think the system has somehow failed children when the author of a pedophile guide gets sentenced to two years probation? Isn’t it rather clear that the guy has the potential of being a sex offender? What is wrong with the laws in this country?
