Today’s photo is from last weekend’s Green Thumb Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida. If you are into gardening this is the one event you do not want to miss. A popular annual tradition (this year was their 25th) in the Tampa Bay Area with hundred’s of vendor’s from all over the state of Florida.
Flower, veggie, herb and landscape plant vendors, food, music, plant auction, guest speakers, flower show and the coolest array of garden decor one could wish for.
A photo essay is in the works – well, so this is a teaser for my upcoming post:).
Meanwhile, here is a shot of the first booth we saw, which had rows upon rows of colorful butterfly attracting plants – one prettier then the other.Â
I call it a FLOWER TAPESTRY

OK – yeah – I admit it:) – bought three plants at the first booth:)
I highly recommend a visit to the annual Green Thumb Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida if you happen to travel in the Tampa Bay Area. Check out their website for the dates and times, it’s always near Earth Day. The festival is a fun family affair including activities for the kids.
Here is their official websiteÂ
Life or I should say, spring projects, have kept me away from gather and even from my photography …
now I’m back with a ton of pictures, stories and how to’s to share with my gather friends. Â
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
