The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine advocates for plant-based nutrition (1). PETA recommends veggie burgers, which are sold at the Hard Rock Cafe, Denny’s, Chili’s, Johnny Rocket’s, Red Robin, and Burger King.
Restaurants
Taco Bell offers bean burritos and veganized Crunch Wrap Supremes. (You can add potatoes and guacamole.) Quiznos and Subway serve vegan subs.
Mock Meats
You can buy mock meats at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Shaw’s.
The most toxic form of the poison arsenic is used in chicken feed because it promotes faster growth. PETA (Eating for Life)
This is a cancer-causing chemical according to PETA, which got it’s information from the National Institutes of Health. According to Men’s Health magazine, chicken is the number one food you should never eat because of the high rate of bacterial contamination.
