Poplanuk – Cheese Bread

Yield: 3 Loaves

8-10 c Flour
1 ea Yeast packet or cake
1/2 lb Longhorn cheese
1 c Sugar
1 c Milk
3 ea Eggs
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Lukewarm water
1/4 lb Butter melted

Place flour in a large bowl & make a well in center.
Crumble yeast into well.
Add combined lukewarm water & milk.
Knead sugar with cheese, salt, eggs & melted butter.
Work with dough, kneading it until it can be handled.
Dust with flour, cover & put in a warm, quiet place for 2 hrs to rise.
Knead lightly again & allow to rise a 2nd time for 1 hr.
Shape & braid into 3 loaves after 2nd rising.
Allow to rise 1 hr.
Bake at 350 deg-F for 20 mins.
Reduce heat in oven to 325 deg-F & bake for 40 mins more.
