Matching all six Powerball winning numbers on July 23, 2011, could make you richer than you ever imagined. Saturday’s estimated Powerball jackpot is up to a staggering $92,000,000 annuity, or a one-time grand prize of $48,400,000 cash-value before taxes.
Tonight’s drawing is the seventh Powerball drawing since someone purchased a winning ticket from the Georgia Lottery for the huge $77,100,000 jackpot on June 29th. Since no one won last Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot, tonight’s amount has grown to $92,000,000.
Recent Powerball Winners
According to the official Powerball website, there were four tickets that won the $200,000 Match 5 prize in the July 20th drawing. They were from Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. There were no $1,000,000 Power Play winners that night.
There were also thirty-four Match 4 + 1 prizes worth $10,000 each. Two of those winners bought PowerPlay tickets, and when multiplied by the PowerPlay number of the night—which just happened to be X 4—the lucky Powerball winners will be taking $40,000 home instead of the normal payout of $10,000. It pays to play the PowerPlay!
