The Powerball winning numbers for Saturday, June 4, 2011, are 17, 19, 39, 41, 58, the Powerball is 21, and the PowerPlay number is X 5. Sadly, there were no jackpot winners in last night’s drawing, so the next estimated Powerball jackpot will be worth $25,000,000 annuity, or $13,200,000 cash-value lump-sum before taxes.
Powerball Winner June 4, 2011
You may not have been lucky enough to match the Powerball numbers and win the jackpot Saturday night, but there were a number of other Powerball winning tickets sold ranging from $3 to $1,000,000!
There were two Match 5 + 0 winning tickets sold, but one of the lucky lottery winners purchased a Powerball PowerPlay ticket. The $1,000,000 lottery ticket was sold in North Carolina and matched all five Powerball winning numbers, but not the Powerball number. Normally, a second-tier Powerball prize would be worth $200,000. However, because the winner spent an extra dollar on the PowerPlay ticket, it instantly increased the prize to $1,000,000!
There was one added Match 5 + 1 winning ticket purchased in Illinois. Too bad the lottery winner did NOT buy a PowerPlay ticket, so ends up with the original payout of $200,000.
There were also 28 Match 4 + 1 winners for $10,000 each. They all matched four Powerball winning numbers, but missed a fifth number, and not the Powerball. Seven of those lottery winners spent an extra $1 on PowerPlay options, and when multiplied by last night’s PowerPlay number of 5, the payout automatically increased to $50,000. All of these PowerPlay winners would tell you, “It pays to play the PowerPlay!”
Finally, there were an additional 657,850 winning tickets worth between $3 and $150.
Next Powerball Drawing
The next Powerball drawing is set for Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:00 p.m. ET. The estimated Powerball jackpot is $25,000,000 annuity or $13,200,000 cash. The multi-state Powerball game is played in 42 States, Washington D.C. and the US Virgin Islands.
The Powerball winning numbers are drawn live each Wednesday and Saturday evenings, so make sure you buy your lottery tickets early. It’s amazing how many people forget to buy their tickets before the drawing, only to realize they were too late.
Please Play Responsibly
Remember, playing the lottery should be fun, but sometimes too much lottery fun can be addictive and could ruin lives. Please play responsibly, and don’t spend more than you’re willing to lose. Good luck playing the Powerball winning numbers game Saturday night!
