On Pretty Little Liars “The Kahn Game,” some old foes are coming out to play, and the girls are putting their trust in Ali’s old friend, Cece (Vanessa Ray)—but why? While Spencer start cozying up to her, the other girls have nothing to do with her yet, as their relationships take some interesting turns.
Is Caleb A?
When Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) isn’t trying to stop the cops from going after Hanna (Ashley Benson) and her blood, she’s playing house with Pastor Ted (Edward Kerr). But who cares? Because Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) is back, and he wants to do more than talk to Hanna (Ashley Benson).
But she’s still hung up on A, especially after she gets a text that says, “The Apple Rose Grille at closing time. Go alone or Caleb pays.” And so she does, and Caleb pulls up to the restaurant, claiming to be A. Of course he’s not, though.
He just wants to tell her that he knows that there’s another A out there torturing her. Still, Hanna doesn’t think he gets it. “This person dug up a grave and stole a body,” she says on Pretty Little Liars “The Kahn Game.” “This person might have killed Maya because she knew something she shouldn’t have. This person… A ran your mom off the road.”
He gets it, though, and he wants to help her stop A. He kisses her, and they are most definitely back together, hopefully.
Will Emily and Paige stay together after Maya’s Website?
Emily (Shay Mitchell) is happy with Paige (Lindsey Shaw) after last week’s big kiss—but she isn’t forgetting Maya any time soon, especially now that she knows about the Website. She’s consumed by it, listening to Maya’s voice, but she wants to be done hurting. Can Paige help her be happy again? Hopefully, but that too will take some more time.
Why is Ezra’s brother Wes in town?
Aria (Lucy Hale) clearly doesn’t know all that much about Ezra (Ian Harding) and his past, and that becomes crystal clear when Wes (Gregg Sulkin) comes to town, insisting Ezra buy back the car he sold. Apparently, Ezra lost that inheritance to Wes, so it wasn’t Ezra’s to sell, and now Mommy Fitzgerald wants the “sentimental family heirloom” back.
But that’s the least of it. The big reveal in this Ezria drama on PLL is what Wes accidentally reveals to Aria when he picks her up from a party. Ezra knocked up a girl in high school, and their mom paid the girl to get rid of the problem and never talk to Ezra again. But if Ezra was hiding this, what else is he hiding? This story seems far from over.
What do the liars learn playing “The Kahn Game”?
Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is ready to go from playing Velma and become Daphne instead—until Cece gives them one of the best clues this season yet. Sure, Spencer is still concerned that she missed an early admission deadline to UPenn, but Cece promises an admissions advisor will be at this party.
But other people are there too, ones that Spencer and Aria aren’t thrilled to see: Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) and Jenna (Tammin Sursok). After all, it is Noel Kahn’s family cabin. And at the party, they also get a wrist stamp identical to the one Holden, and Maya, had. So what is it about this party?
Eric Kahn is all about playing games, which sounds a lot like A. To be in the basement, in fact, they need to play truth or dare. Cece chooses truth, but not much is revealed there. Rather, it’s when Aria challenges Noel that things get interesting. While he bombards her with questions about Ezra, she asks all about Maya, and where he was when Alison’s grave was dug up.
Few answers are revealed there, and even fewer are answered when Spencer gives it a go with Jenna. They talk in code about promises, Jenna throws Cece a few covert glances, and Spencer reveals that Jenna lied about where she found Emily that night: in the diner, not in the road. But the biggest stand-off is when Jenna demands a video. But what video? Whatever it is, Spencer says she can have it—if Jenna tell where Alison’s body is. But then time is up, and really nothing is revealed at all.
Cece sleeps with Eric, and Spencer feels momentarily abandoned by her, but then she gets home and she discovers UPenn really did get her early admission application thanks to Cece. So she thinks she can trust her, but she should be a bit more careful, something she should have learned ages ago.
The Pretty Little Liars season three summer finale is just a few weeks away, and there’s plenty more to be revealed.
