Quick Stripes Baby Afghan

PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION (NO COMMENTS, SMALLER PICTURE)

The quick stitch was one of the very first stitches I learned to crochet.  It makes a great border on lots of projects, or you can make whole projects out of it.  It resembles lattice work, I think, and I really love how quick and easy it is too.  I have done solids and various stripes, but I really like this stripe pattern.  The Bernat Softee Chunky yarn is awesome too – affordable and so soft and easy to work with.  Enjoy!

Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn*:

1 3.5 oz skeins 39119 Denim Heather - color A

2 3.5 oz skeins 39008 Natural - color B

1 2.8 oz skeins 40012 Nature’s Way – color C

* or other brand bulky 5 yarn.  Most yarns have an icon on the label that gives the size of yarn – you can also select a thinner yarn and adjust the hook size, but the finished product will be a different size.

Finished Measurements: 36″ x 40″
