Taylor Armstrong is still reeling from the death of her husband, Russell, and as if her life wasn’t stressful enough, she may be saddled with some of his financial problems. While it was rumored that he had money troubles before he committed suicide (some say that was one cause of him choosing to end his life), it appears that said troubles didn’t disappear… and now they could be Taylor’s troubles.
According to Rumor Fix, there was an “IRS document from December 21, 2011—four months after Russell Armstrong died—imposing a tax lien on his property for failure to pay $23,689.94 in back taxes.” The site suggests that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will “more than likely” have to deal with this directly.
While you may think that sum of money is nothing for Taylor Armstrong to come up with, you have to keep in mind that she may have had to unbury herself from other debts that her late husband left her in. The couple was not in a good place emotionally or financially when Russell died, and Taylor has had to deal with cleaning up all of the messes that he left behind. Unfortunately, this happens to people all the time.
Do you think she will be forced to pay the IRS?
