Fans saw “Rick Ross dead” news earlier from some circles after the rap star suffered a seizure on an airplane. The good news is the Maybach Music Group head honcho is alive, recovering and his fellow rappers Wale and Meek Mill have confirmed it on Twitter. Ross has confirmed it as well with video footage as evidence he’s still alive.
In the hip hop genre, Rick Ross is currently heralded as one of the top emcees in the business in terms of sales popular and lyrical ability. Rising stars Wale and Meek Mill are part of Rick’s rap collaboration team known as Maybach Music Group (MMG). According to Washington Post, Ross’ rap protegé, Wale, tweeted earlier today:
“I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok…@tmz #dontpanic #dontpanic #mmg !!!! #gfid dec 13th!”
Meek Mill simply tweeted: yo @rickyrozay is straight!!
This Rick Ross death scare was not caused by some malicious rumor or hoax on Twitter, but instead because the rapper suffered a seizure on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis. The rap star required CPR after an emergency landing. A recent report from Global Grind indicated that Ross was back on a private jet to Memphis and would be performing at a concert.
Ross also put up a Twitvid of himself boarding and sitting down inside the private jet to Memphis. The rapper known as the “Teflon Don” gave shout outs and promoted his new album for December 13th, but said nothing of the earlier health scare. So apparently Rick Ross isn’t dead, but alive and ready to kick it his next concert. Ross needs to be careful with the concerts though, making sure he doesn’t overdo it!
