Is Rick Ross dead or alive? That’s been the question on the minds of hip hop fans late Friday evening into early Saturday morning. The rapper suffered multiple seizures requiring a hospital stay. It also prompted plenty of Twitter comments from celebrities including fellow rap star 50 Cent.
The Rick Ross seizure news brought comments from all over the world wide web on Friday. Ross was sent well-wishes by the likes of his fellow rap stars as well as R&B star Toni Braxton. Meanwhile, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, responded to a few fans’ tweet questions regarding Rick Ross and his health. 50 tweeted the following comments earlier in the evening on Friday.
No but I don’t wish DEATH on him my grand father had a seizure #SK RT @YoungDrCream: @50cent U gon’ #prayForRickRoss?
Yea he gotta take care his self RT @adamjohnston99: @50cent Any words for Rick Ross?
Many know that 50 Cent and Rick Ross have been in a heated rap feud since 2009. In one previous song called “In Cold Blood” Rick Ross referenced 50, then made a mock funeral of the G Unit rapper in his music video for it. Meanwhile, 50 Cent has gone as far as to call out Rick Ross based on his background as a correctional officer. 50’s G Unit partner in rhyme, Lloyd Banks, has also made at least a few dis tracks aimed at “Officer Ricky.”
Regardless of their feud, it’s clear that 50 Cent has his head right with the responses he gave on Twitter. It would be a low move to wish death upon anyone and when it comes down to it, rap stars now that beefs and feuds are big business. Not only that, but being able to live one’s life is worth more than all the money made in the rap game. Respect goes out to 50 Cent for keeping it real and not going too far with his feud.
