Rihanna and Chris Brown Versus Katy Perry: The New Love-Hate Triangle?

Rihanna and Chris Brown may have a new love-hate triangle to complicate their relationship. Karrueche Tran may be out of the picture (and will hopefully leave the Twitter war of words behind)—for now, at least—given she recently tweeted a photo of what rumors are currently dubbing her new man. But there is apparently another Ri Ri foe on the scene. And, unlike Tran, this fearless femme, and maybe ex-friend of the “We Found Love” singer, is no fan of Brown. Katy Perry is the new third person, and she’s shaking her head and issuing a tisk-tisk when it comes to Ri Ri and Breezy’s rekindled romance.

File:Rihanna - bercy 2011 - 28 (6269063797).jpgAs Hollywood Life reports, a so-called source has come out saying, “Katy fears Rihanna is making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be part of it. They’re barely talking, and ever since the couple reunited, there has been tension between them. Katy has been spending a lot of time with pals Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.”

File:Chris Brown 10, 2012.jpgWhile it’s not clear how reliable this insider is, the fact alone that Perry is said to have been hanging out with Pattinson and Stewart in place of Ri Ri brings a bit of irony to the equation. It would seem Perry would have the same sort of reservations when it comes to the rekindled Robsten romance, especially given Stewart’s recent cheating scandal.

Not that Perry is the greatest judge of character—or good boyfriend material; she did marry Russell Brand, which ended in divorce. Now the Technicolor “Wide Awake” songstress has snagged what many might categorize as another less than wholesome guy. Her potentially problematic catch is John Mayer, and even a friend of one of Mayer’s exes, Jennifer Aniston, has allegedly issued a warning that she should run the other direction—and fast.

So it seems both Katy Perry and Ri Ri are in the same boyfriend boat—at least they have that in common.
