How is the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cheating scandal raising the cost of air travel? Surely the Twilight couple doesn’t dictate what commercial airlines charge.
According to a report from the New York Daily News, no, they certainly don’t. However they’re driving what one company will have to pay for airfare sky-high if there isn’t a reconciliation soon.
Apparently for the previous Twilight films’ promotion, Rob traveled alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. If that doesn’t happen for Breaking Dawn Part 2 promotional events, it will cost the studio a bundle.
“Taylor, Kristen and Rob always fly together,” a source explains, adding if Rob and Kristen don’t get back together and he really doesn’t want to travel in such close proximity to her, the studio will “have to spend a lot more money on jets and other expenses” to accommodate their breakup.
Bigwigs at Summit Entertainment are keeping their fingers crossed because talk of Rob and Kristen meeting face-to-face for a conversation is true. They are hoping beyond all hope that a reconciliation is the result of that conversation.
“They’re prepared for the fact that Rob might not want to, since he hasn’t committed to anything yet,” the source adds.
How upset do you think Summit Entertainment executives will be if they have to charter a second private plane to fly either Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart around the world to promote Breaking Dawn Part 2? It likely doesn’t even remotely factor in to what the Twilight couple is dealing with, and probably is included in some clause in their contracts, so Summit probably has no choice.
Hopefully Breaking Dawn Part 2 is a blockbuster at the box office. That way Summit won’t take too much of a hit paying for extra airfare.
