Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Want to Be the New Angelina Jolie / Brad Pitt

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are certainly well-matched–at least where their ambitions are concerned. It seems the newly reconciled Breaking Dawn lovebirds have set their sites on becoming the Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie of their generation. Rob has often said he wants to star in a reboot of Mrs. & Mrs. Smith--the 2005 hit where Brad and Angie met and fell in love. And, in a recent interview, KStew admitted she’d love to be like Brangelina. Well, if they have to copycat–er–emulate another couple, at least Robsten chose the alpha power couple of all time.

In her recent interview with Marie Claire Magazine, Kristen Stewart dished on her newly regained beau’s ambitions and her own feelings about Brad and Angie as role models. When asked if she’d be “up for” Rob’s Mr. &. Mrs. Smith remake, the On The Road star seemed to be more than willing. She thought it “would be funny.” To remind readers of her consummate professionalism, she was sure to mention that “they need to show [her] the script first.”

KStew’s response to the next question was utterly unequivocal, however. When asked if she and Rob would “like to be the next Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?” she replied without hesitation.

“They are amazing people,” the Twilight heroine gushed, “and [they] do a wonderful job, considering all they do and all they have, I would love to be like them. They’re incredible people.”

So, there you have it. Do you think Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will become their generation’s version of Brad and Angie? Do you think they’ll split up again before they achieve that goal? Or do you think their mutual ambitions will help make their relationship last?
