Rumor has it that jokes about Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the Rupert Sanders cheating scandal have been banned from the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. Good grief. The end of Robsten may yet bring about the end of civilization on planet Earth.
Apparently, this year’s VMAs host, Kevin Hart has been told to “avoid” making jokes about Sanders’ dastardly predation, Stewart’s unpardonable shame, and Pattinson’s interminable depression. That makes sense of course, since both RPattz and KStew are scheduled to appear as co-presenters at this years VMAs. According to sources, Summit’s close relationship with MTV has brought about the ban.
“Kevin Hart will be told to tread those waters lightly and be asked to refrain from mentioning it,” reveals an insider. “They are respecting the severity of the situation, and the relationship they have made with the cast and the films, to not ruffle any feathers.” Actually, far too many bad jokes have already been made about the cheating scandal—many of them downright mean-spirited and nasty, and most of them at Kristen Stewart’s expense. However, although Kevin has been warned not to tread into Twilight territory, the VMAs is a live show with many guests and presenters, and there will be a wide margin for error. The world, including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, will have to tune in and see what happens.
The MTV VMAs airs on Thursday, September 6.
