In a recorded message that went straight to the music loving masses at London’s Earl’s Court arena on February 16, 2010, Prince Harry told everyone in the house (and on TV) during the 2010 Brit Award represents “all that is totally wonderful and unique about British music.”

Talk about getting the royal stamp of approval — and from the man who would be king (well, maybe as Harry is third in line for the British crown behind his father, Charles and his brother, William).

The Brit Awards, this year celebrating a 30th anniversary, is the UK equivalent to the Grammys. Big winners of the evening were Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, and Jay-Z, all of whom also performed at the televised spectacular.
