Taylor Armstrong was present when Russell Armstrong’s body was discovered on Monday evening. She stayed in the home where he was living for several hours after his body had been removed.

According to a report from TMZ, Taylor and Russell, although estranged and in the midst of getting a divorce, did communicate frequently about various matters, including their 5-year-old daughter Kennedy. Both cast members on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, there were no doubt many issues that needed ironing out as part of their divorce proceedings.

When Taylor hadn’t heard from estranged hubby Russell Armstrong in a while, she started calling his friends. She and a friend went to the home where Russell was living and found the owner outside in the yard. The owner looked into Armstrong’s bedroom window, after Taylor shared her concerns, and saw him hanging there, lifeless. It’s not certain if Taylor Armstrong witnessed the tragic sight.

Lots of finger-pointing has taken place since Russell Armstrong’s body was discovered Monday evening. People should bear in mind that Taylor Armstrong carries the weight of explaining Russell’s death to their 5-year-old daughter. No one, regardless of the marital situation, should have to tell a child that their father took his own life.

It’s important to remember, too, that Taylor Armstrong may have seen the horrific scene of her estranged husband’s lifeless body hanging in his bedroom. Regardless of people’s feelings about her, she is undoubtedly suffering as well. Russell Armstrong’s death has impacted many, from his children to the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It would be respectful of all to cease the finger-pointing so this man may be laid to rest in peace, and so that his family may grieve.
