Sandwiches Made to go with Television

Welcome Because of all the Sandwiches There members, honored guests and all you television lovers.

What do Survivor, Melinda Gordon, Calleigh Duquesne, The Amazing Race, and Mac Taylor all have to do with sandwiches? CBS and Chow have teamed up to create the top ten signature sandwiches for its shows and characters.

There’s everything from the The Barney “Upper-crust Italian cured meats will have you feeling like you’ve dined at the Ritz” to The Mentalist  “It’s mind over matter when you combine turkey breast and avocado with melted brie” to The Abby “Go gothic with a mini olive tapenade and Manchego sandwich with a sweet paprika aioli finish.”

Each sandwich comes with the recipe (which all seem to have Hellman’s/Best Foods mayonnaise on them) as well as witticisms. I’m seriously thinking that I need to try either The Russell – a bourbon marinated flank steak sandwich or The Jonas – a meatloaf hoagie. Yum!

If any of you get adventurous and make one of these sandwiches, I’d appreciate it if you’d write up a quick review and including a photo will definitely get it featured.
