Scarlett Johansson, plagued by leaked nude photos from her cell phone, has said very little about her personal feelings. Now she is speaking out. In fact, she is offering herself as an advocate for all celebrities who suffer this kind of privacy invasion. OK! Magazine reports the story.

“Just because you’re in the spotlight, or just because you’re an actor or making films or whatever, doesn’t mean that you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy,” Scarlett Johansson stated publicly. “I think no matter what the context, if that is besieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong.” Scarlett is certainly rightFile:Scarlett Johansson in Kuwait 01b-tweaked.jpg in what she is saying. It is not hard to imagine how you would feel if such a thing happened to your own life. But hacking has become so easy, it is hard for the law to keep up.

So far, the actress, 26, has not officially confirmed the photos, which were uploaded to the internet, are of herself, although they appear to be, and she is working with the FBI to solve the case. Invasion of privacy is a crime, not a means of gathering news. The invading hackers deserve to go to jail.
