Sean Penn Attacks Kate Middleton’s Man

Kate Middleton’s husband Prince William has been criticized by Hollywood bad boy Sean Penn for his participation in Britain’s ‘colonialist’, ‘ludicrous’, and ‘archaic’ methods of dealing with smaller nations.

Sean Penn is a multi-millionaire with a strong ethical code, and right now the double Oscar winner’s sense of righteousness is being outraged by the Duke of Cambridge’s ‘unthinkable’ deployment to the Falkland Islands.

Is the Penn (pictured) mightier than the sword?

Prince William’s ‘routine deployment’ to the Falkland Islands, which Britain fought a war with Argentina over in 1982, entails the heir to the throne spending a harmless six weeks there as an RAF search-and-rescue helicopter pilot.

Prior to his arrival, the Argentine foreign minister claimed the Kate Middleton’s amicable husband would arrive adorned in “the uniform of a conqueror.”

Something which the left-wing Penn clearly agrees when he argued, “There are many places to deploy the prince. It’s not necessary, when the deployment of a prince is generally accompanied by warships, to send them into the seas of such shared blood.”

Speaking in Uruguay, Madonna’s former husband asserted that Britain’s stance over the Falklands was “colonialist, ludicrous and archaic,” before defending previous criticism of Britain’s policies by provocatively snarling, “My oh my, aren’t people sensitive to the word colonialism, particularly those who implement colonialism.”

Penn appears oblivious that the majority of the population of the Falkland Islands prefer to remain through their own self-determination as British citizens, and that the inhabitants estimated at around 3,140 are largely of British descent.

Perhaps good old-fashioned democracy is not as important as Brit bashing is to radical Hollywood celebs who are out to save the world.

Penn, who thinks it’s his place to hold meetings with the Argentina president Cristina Kirchner and discuss the future of the Falkland Islands, which he calls “the Malvinas Islands of Argentina,” is an idiot living in the paradise of the fool and has no place sticking his American snout in other country’s affairs.

A sentiment with which Tory MP Patrick Mercer, a former Army officer, wholeheartedly concurs, “What on earth has this got to do with Sean Penn? He’s neither British nor Argentine and seems to know nothing about the situation judging by this moronic statement.”

And as for dragging poor old Kate Middleton’s husband Willy into his self-glorifying and misguided rants: Shame on you, Penn!

No blood has been spilt on the island since the 74-day war which claimed the lives of 649 Argentines and 255 Britons, but with hot-heads like Penn running around making incendiary comments and trying to reawaken old hostilities, the chances of future conflict over this little island are not all that remote.

Will you be happy then, Sean?
