Selena Gomez — ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Finale in 2012

A preview has been released starring Selena Gomez in the Wizards of Waverly Place finale, set to air in 2012. The episode, titled Who Will Be the Family Wizard? will determine which of the family’s three siblings winds up with all the magical powers.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Wizards of Waverly Place is a Disney Channel Original Series that premiered in 2007. It won the Outstanding Children’s Program award at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards in 2009, and is only the second Disney Channel series to reach 100 episodes.

~Selena Gomez~Wizards of Waverly Place is an ongoing story about three siblings who are wizards. They are competing to “win sole custody of the family powers.” The role of Alex is played by Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez is now 19, and she is growing into a beautiful young woman. It’s probably a really good time for the show to end, since it would be hard convincing people for a lot longer that she’s still just a teenager. She is likely going to miss doing the show, but spends a lot more time now pursuing her music career. She toured both the U.S. and Canada this summer and fall—often in the company of her boyfriend Justin Bieber.
