Television host Shalani Soledad and Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Benedict Church, Ayala Westgrove in Silang, Cavite, south of Manila on Sunday. The couple completed their nuptials with a lovely sunset kiss.

She walked down the aisle to an incredible version of Just the Way You Are, by Bruno Mars. For his part, Roman Romulo wore a classy, simple suit, and his groomsmen were apple green and purple, which must have made for a colorful wedding ceremony.

The groom was excited about his wedding day to the lovely Shalani Soledad. He said, “[I'm] excited, a little nervous. Finally this is it. Excited talaga.” It looks like everything went off without a hitch too even though he did not get much sleep the night before he said “I do.”

He did not have to wait too long to marry his lovely lady, though. In fact, the couple became engaged just weeks after they began dating in September 2011. It seems that just could not wait to start their lives together. What a perfect way to do it too with the sunset kiss. It must have been nice for them to know what they wanted and plan it quickly without a huge, long engagement.

Did you know that Soledad once dated President Benigno Aquino III, who actually wished the couple much happiness in their new life together even though he did not attend their wedding? Even without the President’s attendance, the couple had plenty of big names among the guests as well as in their wedding parties.

Congratulations to the happy couple. The video below shows highlights of Shalani Soledad marrying Roman Romulo.
