In her recent interview for the cover of Vogue magazine, Angelina Jolie is pushing her newest film, The Tourist (due to open December 10th), dishing the dirt on her great love for Brad Pitt (no surprise) and giving readers a new look at the strange interests of her little tomboy, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. A dead bird figures in the Shiloh mythology. Yes, a dead bird.

Every young child has an interest in nature and the earth. But Shiloh seems to be interested in changing nature, mostly in herself, as she dresses and acts like a boy. Mom Angelina and Dad Brad let her be herself and so she wears clothes that are constructed for little boys and she has a haircut that makes her look like the Dutch Boy paint cartoon logo. There is no doubt that the Jolie-Pitts are very kind and loving parents who want their kids to be whoever they’re supposed to be. However, this little tidbit from Angelina makes them seem like the Addams Family.

Shiloh saw a dead bird in their backyard (not sure which backyard it was) and came inside to ask mom if she could have a dead pet. Angelina, wise woman that she is, said no but then went out and bought her a taxidermied bird instead. So did Shiloh think it was the same bird? Or does she understand the laws of taxidermy? Not sure. What do you think?
