MPR’s Sea Stachura reports the NTSB is divided over public hearing on I-35W bridge collapse:
“Rep. Jim Oberstar, D-Minn., says the National Transportation Safety Board’s decision not to hold a public hearing on the 35W bridge collapse is a “major mistake.” The board has voted against holding a public hearing into the cause of the collapse, over the objections of two of its board members. Oberstar will ask the board’s chairman to reconsider its decision.”
I’m looking for your feedback. Should the NTSB hold a public hearing? Yes? No? Why? Share your comments or links to your related Gather articles here.
