With apologies to William Shakespeare

Lead me to those who share

My lust for words

Those bruised mortals

Finding rebirth in prose

They who seek sanctuary

In cathartic pathos

Or long for happiness

Within worlds of rhyme

Memories of loss

Lovers who sigh

Poets who share

Lyrics for song

Well turned verse

To feed the soul

If poetry be food for the heart

Show me the hungry
