Basketball ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade has been arrested on attempted child abduction charges. Siohvaugn is the ex-wife of current NBA star Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat. Her mugshot has now been revealed online, following the arrest which involved her and Wade’s two sons.

According to Global Grind, Siohvaughn was put behind bars this past weekend. She allegedly tried to take her and D-Wade’s two children following a “father’s day melee.” She was able to post $10,000 bond and was released.

The TMZ site has the Siohvaughn Funches-Wade mugshot on display right now and reports via a Cook County Sheriff’s Office statement:

“[She] was charged with two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest.”

It’s been well documented that Dwyane Wade has been battling with his ex-wife for several years now following their divorce. He currently has sole custody of their sons, and is dating actress Gabrielle Union. As for his ex-wife, she tried to keep his sons from returning to his custody on Father’s Day, which also just so happened to be an NBA Finals game day. The Miami Heat are currently leading the Oklahoma City Thunder 3 games to 1, in a best-of-7 series for the NBA championship.

It should be interesting to see if this Siohvaughn Funches-Wade arrest situation goes any further from here. Ironically, this ex basketball wife is not part of the hit show “Basketball Wives” on VH1. That show currently features ex-wives including Shaunie O’Neal, Evelny Lozada, and Johmana Sahama, among others. They may want to contact Siohvaugn for a role on the show, because she seems to be full of drama!
