The word appears to be close to official as ‘official’ can be. Â Without any Hollywood spoilers, ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) comedians Fred Armisen and his lovely co-star Abby Elliott, are dating. Â The couple began their romance just months after Armisen and ‘Mad Men’ actress Elisabeth Moss ended their ‘po-qui-to’ marriage. Â It lasted only seven months.
Funny Man Fred Armisen, 43, wed Elisabeth Moss, 27, in October of 2009. Â Just as fast as you can say abracadabra, it was over in a flash, lasting only until May 2010.
Armisen and Elliott are already involved in a blooming love affair. Â Not time taken there.
Who’s complaining? After all, speed-dating is allowed in Hollywood.
Armisen and Moss appear to be keeping the peace. They both report the breakup was “amicable”, you know-the obligatory response to nearly all Tinseltown breakups.
Perhaps, it’s in their contract, the standard language, the proviso’s us mere mortals are not privy to?
It appears headlines, the scoop and skinny of breakups always come on the eve of a big film or project.
Armisen is preoccupied with the filming of an upcoming television series, “Portlandi”. Â Moss, reportedly, is in Los Angeles. Â There’s no world on what’s on her plate.
Certainly, there is something to assist in the healing. Â It looks like Armisen may have beat her to the punch. Â He’s found his therapy in Abby Elliott.
As far as Elliott is concerned, she and Armisen met on the set of SNL in 2008. Currently, she is reported to be the youngest cast member at 23, on the long-running series that made its debut in 1975.
Elliott’s father, Chris Elliott, was also a cast member on the show. Â Abby is very versatile on the show. Â She is well known for her many voice covers and impersonations.
By all accounts, Armisen and Moss have “moved on”, and appear to be adjusting well. Â Armisen is a veteran, so to speak. Â He’ll manage by following the play book. This is his second marriage.
Perhaps, a third is in store for the funny man?
