Snooki–a.k.a. Nicole Polizzi, will be a good mom. So says her co-star on The Jersey Shore–Vinny Guadagnino. The little guidette’s partying ways and excessive drinking are reportedly on hold as she awaits the birth of her baby.

According to a report from People.com, Polizzi is working hard to become a good mother to her impending bundle of joy.

Profile Picture“She’ll be a great mom. She’s already drastically changed her life,” Vinny says. “I think this is a good wakeup call, so I think she’ll be cool.”

Guadagnino does admit he was shocked to learn the news of her pregnancy, however.

“I had no idea. Actually people would call me, like, ‘Is the show still gonna work?’…And I was like, ‘What are you talking about, she’s not pregnant.’ And then all of the sudden, that whole thing came out and I was like, Oh my God,” Vinny adds.

He also says that despite current rumors about both Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Snooki not returning for the next season of The Jersey Shore, he remains optimistic that everything will be just fine.

“Everyone’s saying they’re not going to be there, but I don’t know if they’re going to be there or not. I have a great feeling they’re gonna be there and nothing’s going to change,” he says.

It’s been rumored that because of Snooki’s pregnancy and The Situation getting sober in rehab that these two won’t be wild enough for The Jersey Shore standards.

It’s nice that the little guidette has Vinny on her side regarding her pregnancy, however. Many people fear she won’t be a good mom and that her heavy partying will somehow impair her unborn baby. But Vinny knows her personally. He is certain that’s she’s put that phase of her life on hold in order to assure that this newest one will be healthy and happy. And that is the sign of a good mom.

It just goes to show you that with some determination and the willingness to change, even the wildest people can calm down.
