Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have finally fessed up and admitted what most of us knew all along, their divorce wasn’t real. What a shocker! Yes, that’s sarcasm. Speidi have admitted that they faked their divorce to try to make money.

26672, CABOS SAN LUCAS, MEXICO - Friday May 28, 2010. FILE PICTURE dated Wednesday 19th November 2008. Heidi Montag has allegedly seperated from husband Spencer Pratt and is looking for a new place to live. The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are married in a secret ceremony in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico, on 19th November 2008. Photogragh: Mango Productions/PacificCoastNews.com Spencer said in a statement to Life & Style Magazine, that when the couple found out that “The Hills” would not be picked up for another season (not that they would have been allowed to be on it anyway), they hatched their divorce plan. They claim that there was interest in a television series chronicling their divorce from British TV network, ITV. When that deal fell through, they called off their divorce and reunited. Spencer said, “The divorce was real — just the idea behind it was different than most people’s. Divorcing was the only way to keep Heidi’s career going because everyone hated me so much. Look at Sandra Bullock — her divorce from Jesse James was the best thing to happen to her image.” Obviously, Spencer fails to recognize that Heidi Montag is no Sandra Bullock. Sandra Bullock is smart, attractive and talented. All the things that Heidi is not. Spencer Pratt is also no Jesse James. Jesse may be a cheating scumbag, but at least he has an incredible talent (building motorcycles) and can support himself!

The couple is facing serious financial difficulties and may be forced to file for bankruptcy. They have blown through $10 million on ridiculous things such as crystals, Heidi’s “music” career and numerous plastic surgeries. They also owe $2 million in back taxes. Spencer has even looked into collecting unemployment. Heidi and Spencer are now living in Spencer’s parent’s guesthouse.

Here’s an idea, Speidi! How about getting a real job? $2 million is a lot to have to pay back, but you have to start somewhere!
