Spencer Pratt was arrested in Costa Rica, Sunday for illegal possession of a firearm. The former star of MTV’s “The Hills” and soon-to-be-ex-husband of Heidi Montag was booked with one count of felony possession.  Although Spencer Pratt was arrested in Costa Rica, he thought is was necessary to send out a tweet about his incarceration, about “children’s tears”, and “soup”.

Spencer Pratt, according to TMZ, was arrested in Costa Rica while preparing to depart the country.  He was busted with illegal possession of weapons, taken into custody, and allegedly forced to sign a confession.  Based on the bizarre behavior in the past, it is difficult to believe if Spencer Pratt was indeed arrested in Costa Rica for illegally possessing a firearm.

Spencer Pratt said that he was incarcerated in Costa Rica after he had completed his mission of “spiritual cleansing”.  The mercurial “The Hills” star has been under fire, recently, for his flaky behavior, bold, and nauseating statements about his marriage with Heidi Montag, and looming divorce.  Pratt states that his arrest for illegal possession of firearms was an accident, an oversight on his part.

“The Hills” star’s bizarre tweet

In keeping with his bizarre handle, Spencer Pratt tweeted to his, maybe two fans, the following message, according to the NY Daily News:

“As part of my spiritual cleansing I’ve spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person,” Pratt said. “I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive.”  He also spoke about the smell of “children’s tears” and the smell of “soup”.

Spencer Pratt went on to say about his being arrested that he “mistakenly” brought his hunting firearms to the airport’s terminal, and it was an “honest mistake”.  It gets more bizarre when he says he is banned from the country, but “that’s because of the chicken incident.”

Spencer Pratt gets himself arrested in lovely Costa Rica for illegally possessing firearms, yet he finds time for C-rated humor.  Perhaps, that is his way of dealing with the reality that Heidi Montag is divorcing him, pronto.  Or, maybe, just maybe Spencer Pratts’s arrest in Costa Rica for felony possession of firearms is legit, and the world owes the fame-seeker an apology.  Have a cup of soup on us, Spencer.
