The Star Magic Ball 2011 was held at the Manila Peninsula hotel in Makati City. Which stars were the best dressed at the event? Who takes home the dubious honor of being the worst dressed?

Actress and singer Kim Chiu stunned in her white, strapless Francis Libiran gown. In fact, she won the award for Drop-dead Stunner. She is famous for being the first winner of Pinoy Big Brother.

KC Concepcion took the Choice Fashionistas award at the star-studded glamorous event. KC wore a sheer ivory lace strapless gown with heavy beading and embroidery on the bodice by Ezra swarovski, and the mermaid gown flared out in ruffles just past her knees with an incredibly long and detailed train. She and Piolo appeared to have patched things up, and they were very happy together during the Star Magic Ball 2011.

Bea Alonzo also stunned at the ball. She wore a black gown by Jun-Jun Escario with a large keyhole in the front that revealed her lovely cleavage. Bea won the Best Dressed Pair with her date.

Shaina Magdayao appeared with John Lloyd Cruz, who won the Star Magic Icon Award. She was one of the evening’s best dress in a striking red, strapless gown by Amir Sali, which followed the mermaid gown trend of the night flowing out near the knees in feminine ruffles.

Maja Salvador wore a mermaid Pepsi Herrera gown in black. The lace and tiered ruffled train made this one of the top looks at the Star Magic Ball 2011. Rica Peralejo also kept with the night’s trend of mermaid gowns. She drew eyes in a bright red dress by Edwin Tan.

The five months pregnant Kristine Hermosa showed off her adorable baby bump in a stunning cream and black gown. She and her husband Oyo Sotto were beautiful on the red carpet.

Those who earned the honor of being some of the worst dressed in a field of incredibly lovely and feminine gowns include Angelica Panganiban, Valerie Concepcion, Jewel Mische, Yeng Constantino, and John Lapus.

Overall, the evening lived up to its hype. Many fans watched just for the amazing gowns, and they were not disappointed. Which ones did you like the most?
