Steve Jobs’ biography will now be released in November of 2011. The book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, have decided to push up the release date from March 2012. The book titled, Steve Jobs: A Biography was written by Walter Isaacson with Jobs’ cooperation. Fortunately, that means this book will probably be very factual and honest unlike some other scandalized books.
Simon & Schuster’s director of publicity, Tracey Guest, stated the publication date had been pushed up because “the book is now ready.” Obviously, Isaacson really enjoyed the project and was able to get all the information needed with Jobs’ help.
The promotional description on the publisher’s website states: “Based on more than forty interviews with Jobs conducted over two years — as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues — Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.”
Now then, for all you Apple and techie lovers, this may be the one book you will hope to receive for Christmas. Steve Jobs: A Biography will be released on November 21, 2011. So, it really is prefect timing for the holiday season. Are you interested in finding out about the man who has been so influential to Apple’s success?
