Jon Stewart has announced that both the “Rally to Restore Sanity” and Stephen Colbert’s “March to Keep Fear Alive” rallies will  be broadcast live on Comedy Central, as well as a live online stream.

If you’re wondering what will happen when Stewart’s sanity restorers meet Colbert’s fear mongers you can watch how it unfolds live.

This is great news for those who cannot make it to Washington DC on October 30. The rallies are sure to be history in the making.

As of October 13, more than 220,000 Facebook members have signed up to attend Stewart’s “Rally to Restore Sanity,” and Colbert’s “March to Keep Fear Alive” has over 88,000 confirmed attendees.

If you are planning on attending, there are message boards set up on Facebook for ride sharing, and trip planning. If you live anywhere near New York City, Arianna Huffington of The Huffington Post has promised rides for anyone showing up at the Huff Post offices on the morning of the rally.

The good news is that we can all participate in the events by donating to the Trust for the National Mall, and by purchasing rally themed merchandise from the Stewart and Colbert websites, as well as Comedy Central.
